RUBBY
Morten Klementsen / klemenza.art
A dark, organic machine moves through a snow-covered mountain road. Its surface is not metal. It is rubber — reinforced with carbon, rough in places, soft in others.
This is RUBBY, a concept car designed to end the tyranny of parking-lot dents and corrosion. Ninety-two percent of its exterior is rubber. The components are modular. The hardness of the material changes depending on where it sits on the body.
Journalists who tested it were allowed to park it carelessly. They returned without a single costly mark.
Klemenza presents a vehicle that is both tough and good-natured — a quiet rebellion against the fragility of modern cars.
