The Narrative: I hit the jackpot at birth. My father, a master storyteller and a sailor of the South American routes, brought the world home to us in Bergen. His tales of Rio de Janeiro—the divine view from Sugarloaf Mountain and the warm-hearted grit of the city—were burned into my mind long before I ever set foot in a gallery.

He spoke of playing soccer with the local youth and of a heart-centered care that defined the city’s soul. He taught his sons to look at the world with an open heart. While my own travels took me through the history of Europe, the "state of mind" that is Rio remains my ultimate dreamscape.

This work is not just an image; it is a 15,000-pixel tribute to the man who shaped me. It is the bridge between a son’s memory and a father's legacy.
