The female mayor of an unnamed county is an experienced politician with usually very good rhetorical skills who suddenly gets a powerful moral impulse in the form of her other self, her conscience. The elite politician gets goosebumps and her knees tremble when she hears her own voice telling what her conscience tells her. She tells the unvarnished truth in an important political issue for her and her political party. Her conscience sister posts about agreements and bargains between named coalition politicians who are in a big deal with several private companies from which they receive kickbacks. The experienced politician tries to break out of her own conscience voice, but it doesn't work. It's as if she's drunk truth serum. The words and her truths fly out through the microphones. The fact that it's live TV and radio doesn't make matters any better. for her. The press corps and fellow politicians who were supposed to shine a light on her usual vocabulary are in shock too. She experiences shame and humiliation from her, now, former political friends, but the people love her. A politician who speaks the truth is not exactly everyday in the country she lives in. The end of the speech is that the ex-politician and ex-mayor gets hero status from the people, and now she has joined one of the opposition parties, and uses her honest voice there. They call her "the truth politician", and this experienced politician is a strong contender in the next election. The pangs of conscience were good for the now re-established elected candidate
