MOLO TREE: A Reflection on Solitude and Cosmic Wonder

Kuration – Art Analysis:
Concept: MOLO TREE captures a sublime moment of introspection and cosmic connection. The solitary tree, placed at the center of this tranquil scene, creates a balance between the earthly and the infinite. Its reflection in the glass-like water suggests a duality, evoking a meditative feeling of unity with nature and the universe. Visual Analysis: The autumnal colors of the tree contrast beautifully with the serene blues and blacks of the night sky, while the mirrored water doubles the visual impact of the scene. The lone figure in the rowboat adds a sense of solitude and reflection, suggesting a quest for inner peace and clarity. Emotional Impact: This image invokes a sense of tranquility and wonder. The peaceful solitude of the figure, the calmness of the water, and the boundless expanse of the stars overhead invite the viewer to reflect on their place in the universe and their connection to nature.
Symbolism: The tree symbolizes life, growth, and resilience, while its reflection in the water suggests introspection and the endless search for meaning. The celestial backdrop represents the infinite possibilities of the cosmos, reminding us of both our insignificance and our potential.

MY STORY - MOLO TREE:
Swallowing a little here now, out of awe.. My Grandfather often said: We are big in words, but small on earth. That was also my opinion when I created this artwork. We humans are smaller than grains of sand in the desert, yet we often behave like Giants. We are the same, we all have the same primary needs, and we are small. Very small. Not that we can't achieve anything, of course we can, but it's good for many to carry this awe with us.
