ItaNo
ItaNo – THE HYBRID // THE KINETIC LINK
The Olsen family from Northern Norway consists of a father from southern Italy and a mother from Northern Norway. They lived in Northern Norway for a long time, but in the end the couple with their two children decided, in a family council, to point their noses south by moving to her husband's birthplace, a secluded and quiet village on the coast of Sicily.
They took the cat Lizzy with them from the cold to the warmth. It wasn't long before the female cat became pregnant with an Italian charmer. She gave birth to this little one that the family now calls a cold-hot hybrid of Norway and Italy. The daughter in the family was sure: The new family member had to be named ItaNo - after 50% Italian and 50% Norwegian origin.
The little kitten grew quickly, as small cats tend to do. ItaNo is of course a full-fledged family member, and was with the Olsen family to cold Norway on vacation. Strangely enough, the hybrid cat also liked to play in the snow and ice. Genes are unpredictable, but there are probably a lot of different inherited instincts in ItaNo. It can withstand most things. What a great initiative to name this cat after its inherited genetics.
